UC’s Multi-Campus Research Program in Studies of Food and the Body is pleased to announce a call for submissions to our 2011 Dissertation Retreat, to be held September 9-10 at Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma. This annual Dissertation Retreat provides graduate students conducting research on issues of food in the arts, humanities, and social sciences with the opportunity to have their work read and discussed by the MRP’s faculty members. Graduate students will have at least two faculty discussants assigned to read and comment on their work.
